On the evening of July 20, the final of the second "Cun Chao" League in Rongjiang, Guizhou, came to an end under the attention of all the people. The Dangxiang Village team successfully defeated the Dongmen Village team in a fierce competition. Tens of thousands of tourists and fans witnessed the birth of the 2024 champion on the green field. The exciting competition also touched the hearts of teachers and students of the School of Communication. In the past summer news practice, more than 70 teachers and students of the School of Communication went to Rongjiang, Guizhou, to explore the story of "Cun Chao League", and used cameras and paper to record the rich football enthusiasm and national sentiments of the local land. And with rich achievements such as a series of live broadcasts with more than 500,000 viewers, a daily tabloid widely praised by the people of Rongjiang, and a report evening party that integrates the "Cun Chao League" culture, a unique "Xia Xiaochuan" style of Cun Chao League was drawn.
When the "Cun Chao League" finals ignited the enthusiasm of all corners of the world, the 2024 summer news practice report film "Xia Xiaochuan in Rongjiang" of the School of Communication of East China Normal University was also released. The report film was shot and produced by undergraduate students of the School of Communication, presenting the whole process of the practice team's research, visits, planning and shooting in Rongjiang, Guizhou in the form of a micro-documentary.
