The delegation from Brazil’s ruling party’s parliament visited Suzhou, Jiangsu, and Shanghai from March 19 to 20, 2025, gaining an in-depth understanding of modern agricultural technologies such as ecological rice production and bio-composting. In Shanghai, they visited the Longhua Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery and Memorial Hall, and held discussions with East China Normal University on Sino-Brazilian non-governmental exchanges and China’s rural revitalization’s contribution to the modernization of the Global South. Subsequently, on March 22, the delegation traveled to Rongjiang, Guizhou, to experience the “Cun Chao” (Village Super League) football matches, feeling the charm of “people’s football” and the harmonious atmosphere of ethnic cultural exchange, and learning about the advantages of China’s grassroots democratic practices.
