On March 22, 2025, the delegation from Brazil’s ruling party’s parliament arrived at the Rongjiang “Cun Chao” football field. Coincidentally, Mojiang Hani Autonomous County from Yunnan Province was there for a football friendly match and ethnic cultural exchange. Delegation members actively participated in interactive sessions, including the fun “smearing” ritual, symbolizing dispelling evil and bringing blessings. Whether in the cheers for goals or the joyful singing and dancing during the “Bouncing Village Disco,” people of different nationalities, skin colors, and cultural backgrounds felt like one family, jointly composing a harmonious chapter of international exchange. They also conducted household surveys to learn about Rongjiang’s “Three New Agriculture” stories and the advantages of China’s grassroots political system, and exchanged ideas with local villagers under ancient banyan trees, expressing high recognition for China’s grassroots democratic practices.
