Addressing Global South Challenges Through Collaborative Discourse

The two-day forum provided a dynamic platform for over 200 distinguished scholars, government officials, and media professionals from China, Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Nepal, Japan, and India


to engage in comprehensive discussions across nine parallel sub-forums. These sessions explored critical global and regional challenges and opportunities. For instance, Sub-forum I focused on “World Hotspots and the Road to Peace,” seeking paths for independent and peaceful development in developing nations. Sub-forum III addressed “The ‘New Cold War’, the Taiwan Strait, and Northeast Asia,” aiming to clarify historical and legal contexts and counter Western media distortions. Other key areas of discussion included reforming the global financial system and highlighting the role of BRICS countries , fostering capacity building among Global South nations , and advancing international communication for a new world order. Fieldwork China sub-forums also shared experiences on targeted assistance and rural revitalization, exemplified by Gannan and the “Village Super League”. These discussions aimed to collectively contribute wisdom and solutions towards building a community with a shared future.
