In March 2025, a delegation from Brazil's ruling party's parliament was invited to visit China, jointly exploring rural revitalization practices in Jiangsu, Guizhou, and other regions with faculty and students from East China Normal University. This trip aimed to strengthen strategic mutual trust and cultural exchanges between China and Brazil, laying the foundation for the two countries to enter their "golden 50 years."

The Brazilian delegation's visit to China began with an in-depth understanding of modern ecological agriculture, experiencing advanced rice production and bio-composting technologies. Subsequently, they visited the revolutionary martyrs' cemetery in Shanghai, experiencing China's red culture and showcasing multi-field exchanges and cooperation between China and Brazil.

Meng Zhongjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of East China Normal University, emphasized the Global South's crucial role in human progress. Vijay Prashad, Executive Director of the Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research, called for new solidarities amid the evolving global order. Narayan Kaji Shrestha, former Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal, advocated for the Global South to forge a unique, inclusive, and sustainable path to modernization, avoiding Western models and actively building a just global order.
